Bamboo Forest

Hi!
In this post I will show you all how I made my bamboo terrain.
First I made a order of a pack of 100 plastic bamboo trees from Ebay.

Then I cut out some bases in thin mdf with a powersaw

I sanded down the edges and added some Vallejo grey pumice to the bases.

Painted the bases with Vallejo game color Tierra Earth 062

Applied some static grass flock to the bases

Glues some Oregano to the bases and drilled some holes into the bases for the plastic bamboo trees to fit.

And here are the finished bases.

I hope you all like my little tutorial.

Best Regards

Japanese Corprals

After changed miniatures wargame rules from Bolt Action to Chain of Command I noticed that in my Japanese army I need four Corprals in one Platoon, one for each section of men.
To make them different then the rest of the men I decided to put caps on them insted of helmets and I even tryed to paint collar rank insignia on them.....

Now when I have painted this four miniatures I can get back to building more jungle terrain!

Sayōnara!

Palm Trees Part 2

Hi again today I will show you how i finished my palm trees with a little tutorial!

First I sanded down the edges of the mdf bases.

Drilled a hole in the mdf for the palm tree.

Glued the tree to the base and put some Vallejo grey pumice on the base.

Here are the colors I used to paint the palm trees.
First paint castellan green on all the palm tree, then high light it with loren forest green and then some high light of gretchin green.
The base was painted with game color Tierra Earth 062 and washed with Vallejo lavado sepia wash.

Here you can see how the palm trees looks with no paint , paint , and painted with high light.

I put some Oregano spice mix on the base.

And here are the first six ready palm trees!

And here are some extra pictures.... hope you all like them :)

BANZAI!!!
